Souparnika Subhash's original name was Souparnika Vijay. She was born on April 17, 1989, and is an actress who has worked both in television and films. She is known for her work mainly in Malayalam industry. In her schooling days too, she showed a great talent at competitions of acting and singing and had won many awards for her performances. She is from Kozhikode, Kerala, and her parents Vijaykumar and Mini Vijaykumar were stage artists. She made her acting debut in the year 2000 when she was just eleven with the serial, Kacha Devyani. This was her acting debut on television. She played a child artist in this serial. Later, in the year 2007, she debuted in the film industry with the movie Avan Chandiyude Makan.
She portrayed the character Girija with great enthusiasm. Though by the time her this movie released, her second film had already released, Thanmathra. She played the role of a Muslim girl, Sabeena. The movie won many awards at all levels. She is a very popular face with Malayali audiences as she has done so many serials like Velamkanni Mathav, Swami Ayyappan, Sree Krishnaleela, Mahabhagavatham, Sree Padmanabhan, Visudha Thomasleeha, Aadiparasakthi, Manasaveena, Kunjiyammaykkanju Makkalane, Minukettu, Nizhalattam, and Snehatheeram, etc. Souparnika has a very good voice too. She has sung many songs too as a playback singer. She also did stage shows. She has also won an award Tharolsavam Kairali TV for her singing performances. She tied the knot on May 13, 2013, with Subhash Balakrishnan.
